A community support group for the "circuit breaker" month

Non-essential workplaces are closing tomorrow, with schools to follow the next day. For the next month, we’re all supposed to be hunkering down at home and going out as little as possible.

This sort of isolation can be hard, even for introverts. I’ve been thinking about what I can do to be supportive and useful during this period. I’ll be keeping up this newsletter, of course, and am still taking suggestions for groups and causes to highlight.

But I thought it would also be nice to create space for a supportive community. To that end, I’m starting a “Circuit Breaker” Community Group on Telegram for people to share resources (and Nice Things!) and support one another. It’s a space to socialise and reach out if you’re feeling a little stir-crazy or anxious, or would like to talk to people who aren’t the people stuck at home with you (no judgment!)

It’s a private group, and I’ll only be sharing the link to it through We, The Citizens (hopefully this reduces/eliminates spambots and hijackers!)

See you on Telegram! Join the group here.

Book update: I sent it innnnn (again)

I was going to write this as an email to Milo Peng Funders that won't get published on the We, The Citizens website, but decided that since the previous book updates got published I might as well continue so that everything's neat. Perhaps one day we will all look back
